We were walking in Alexandria when we saw it...a three foot aluminum foil tower. We got closer to see if there was some sort of explanation. We stared at it. We tentatively touched it. The foil was resting perfectly on a post by the water, obviously not put there by accident. If it was street art, we were at a loss for understanding its aesthetic value, but that was no matter. I wanted my picture taken with it.
I took my position next to the silvery column and Sean stepped back to try and fit us both in the frame. Then a man stepped in.
"Oh sorry, let me move my stuff," he said as he picked up a bag and started to move a folding table that we had been previously oblivious to.
"No, no!" we responded, not wanting to inconvenience this man. "We were just admiring the aluminum foil."
"The foil?"
"Yes. It's soo...big and awesome. We've never seen anything like it."
"It's a fruit stand."
"Wait, what?"
"We're catering an event on that boat and that's a fruit stand so..."
"Oh right," (We weren't being really creepy trying to take a picture with your fruit stand. No. We were just...uh...ok bye).
