Today I was away at: Camden Yards

While discussing my weekend plans with a co-worker, I casually mentioned that I would be going to an Oriole game on Saturday.

"I am not really into baseball," I said, "but the game is right around dinner time so at least I will be able to get something good to eat."

And then he replied, "Oh! Do you like to eat?"

Prior to this conversation, my list of "Top 3 Things Tracey Likes To Do" looked a little like this:

1) Sleep
2) Procrastinate
3) Look out the window

However, this question has really thrown me for a loop. I never considered human survival tactics in my original list so after much pondering and deliberation, I have edited my list of "Top 3 Things Tracey Likes To Do." The new list reads as follows:

1) Sleep (not everything changes)
2) Eat
3) Blow my nose

Today I was away at: work.

My project for the day? Find all of the pay phones in the plant. Pay phones. What a concept.

And Rob moved to Maryland so we had noodles.

This has nothing to do with being away, but it sure is friendly.

This weekend I was away in: West Virginia

After a 20 mile bike ride along the river and an intimate chat with the woman at the antiques shop (if you need tips on faux finishing a wall, just let me know), we spent a lovely evening soaking in some true West Virginia culture.

We headed over to the Sagebrush Round-Up Country Music Hall where we enjoyed some old-fashioned, down-home country music. Despite the fact that we were the only audience members without white hair, stuck out like sore thumbs as out-of-towners, and the singer for the show's headlining act sounded unapologetically like a frog, we left with a night full of laughter, tears, and free Sagebrush Round-Up souvenir pens.

To top it all off, this morning we were witness to 40 submersion baptisms at Cheat Lake while we munched on a picnic lunch of Subway Subs.

What a wild and wonderful state.
